Rick Yancey

Rick Yancey is an American author. He earned a BA in English at Roosevelt University in Chicago and worked first as a teacher and then an actor. Later he was employed by the IRS. Since 2004 he has been full-time writer, starting with the release of Confessions of a tax collector, in which he described his work as a tax inspector. As a result, he has published several series of novels for children and adults, which earned him a nomination for, among others, the Carnegie Medal.
