Riitta Uosukainen

Riitta Uosukainen Maria ( born June 18, 1942 in Enso ), born Vainikka, is a Finnish politician. It belongs to the collection of party ( Kokoomus ).

1969 closed Uosukainen her Philology degree with a Master degree. From 1969 to 1976 she worked as a Finnish teacher at the high school Imatrankoski. In the period from 1983 to 2003 she was a Member of the Finnish Parliament, 1999-2003 President of the Parliament. In 1991 she was appointed Minister of Education in the government of Esko Aho and held this post until 1994. In the elections in 2000 Riitta Uosukainen candidate for the office of President.
