Riksmål Society

The Riksmålsforbundet is a linguistic, cultural and political organization in Norway, which campaigns for the unofficial Norwegian written standard Riksmål.

Riksmålsforbundet was founded in 1907 by poet and Nobel Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson.

Prominent members of the movement are, or were, inter alia, Fridtjof Nansen, Arnulf Øverland, André Bjerke, Sigurd Hoel, Johan Bernhard Hjort, Knut Wigert, Varg Vikernes, Margrethe Aamot Øverland and Sofie Helene Wigert.

Riksmålsforbundet are the newspaper " Ordet " (the word ) out.
