Rimouski-Neigette Regional County Municipality
Rimouski - Neigette is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.
It is located in the administrative region of Bas- Saint- Laurent and consists of ten subordinate administrative units (a city, a municipality, seven Sprengel and an unincorporated community ). The MRC was founded on 26 May 1982. The main town is Rimouski. The population is 55,364 and the area 2694.2 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 20.5 inhabitants per km ².
