Rino Albertarelli

Rino Albertarelli ( born June 8, 1908 in Cesena, Italy, † September 21, 1974 in Milan, Italy ) was an Italian comic book artist and illustrator.

Life and work

Due to the difficult economic situation of his family broke Albertarelli his education and started to work. At the age of 20 he moved to Milan and worked as an illustrator for several magazines. After completing military service Albertarelli worked with different laying. His first comic of the Title I pirati del Pacifico he published in 1936 in the children's magazine Argento Vivo. The following year Albertarelli began his collaboration with the Mondadori publishing house, for which he was responsible among other things, the comics Kit Carson, Dottore fist, Gino e Gianni, Un di 16 anni gentiluomo and Gioietta Porta Fortuna. In the early 1950s he turned to illustration and drew more than 20 years no more comics. Albertarelli began again in 1973 on drawing comics, but died a year later.

Albertarelli received the Yellow Kid in 1974.
