The Réserve écologique de Ristigouche is furnished in 1983, 473.37 hectares of protected area in the south of the Canadian province of Quebec.

The area is located 5 km southeast of Saint -André -de- Restigouche. The nearest town is Campbellton, which already lies in the southern province of New Brunswick. The reserve is part of the administrative region of Gaspésie- Îles- de -la -Madeleine on the Gaspesie Peninsula.

The reserve represents for the region typical plant habitats of Chaleur Bay. This includes especially the yellow birch.

The area is characterized by two plateaus, which are intersected by two valleys. While the two plateau about 275 m above sea level, the river valleys of Ruisseau Fraser and Moffet are only about 125 and 80 m high. The rocky subsoil of the area which is in the northern end of the Appalachian Mountains, is expected to série de Matapédia. He holds especially slate, quartzite and limestone.
