Ritwik Bhattacharya

Ritwik Bhattacharya ( born October 14, 1979 in Pathankot ) is a former Indian squash players.

Career

Ritwik Bhattacharya started his professional career in 1999 and won six tournaments on the PSA World Tour. Its highest ranking in the world rankings, he reached rank 38 in November 2006. At the World Championships in 2004, he was double in Chennai on the side of Saurav Ghosal Vice World Champion. Ritwik Bhattacharya was a total of five times Indian national champion and played more than 70 games for the Indian national team, many years as a captain. With this he took part in the World Championships, among others, 2005, 2007 and 2009. He played his last professional tournament in 2010.

Private

Ritwik Bhattacharya attended from 1992 to 1997, the Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun. In 2000, he completed his studies at St. Stephen 's College in New Delhi with a bachelor's degree. He was honored in 2003 as the best athletes with the Rajiv Gandhi State Sports Award. In September 2013, he married the Indian Model Pia Trivedi.
