Rivarolo Ligure

, Also known simply Rivarolo Rivarolo Ligure, is a neighborhood of the Italian port city of Genoa. In the past, used as an industrial area, it is now a densely populated residential area on the north - western outskirts of the big city.

Rivarolo belongs administratively to Munizip V Valpolcevera and in turn consists of the districts Borzoli Est, Rivarolo, Certosa, Teglia, Begato, Fegino and Trasta reach a population of 34 674 in its entirety.

Until 1926 Rivarolo was an independent commune when it was included in the United Genoa. Before that it was an important junction of the railway lines in the direction of Milan and towards Alessandria above all.
