The River Awe ( Scottish Gaelic Uisge Abha ) is a short river in the southwest of the Scottish Highlands. Through him, the freshwater Loch Awe drains into the saltwater fjord Loch Etive.

The river originates from a dam at the end of a deep arm of Loch Awe, which protrudes laterally in the extreme northeast of the hole in a northwesterly direction. Along the river that the roads A85 and the railway from Glasgow to Oban; both cross it at about half of its run. Also, a smaller road bridge and a pedestrian bridge crossing the river.

Next to the village of Taynuilt flows into the river in the Loch Etive. At its mouth the residents is for the former ferry that crossed the Loch Etive.
