The River bleng is a river in Lake District, Cumbria, England. The River bleng arises as Tongue Gill on the southern slopes of a ridge formed by Haycock and Caw Fell. At the foot of the mountain ridge at Stockdale Head of Tongue Gill becomes the River bleng.

The River bleng first flows in a western direction, then turns first south-west and then south to take its course to the east by the town of Gosforth. At the height of the southern end of the village Gosforth turns to the River bleng directly in an easterly direction, which leads him to its confluence with the River Irt.
