River Gee County is an administrative region ( County) in Liberia, it has a size of 5113 km ², and had at the last census (2008) 66 789 inhabitants.

The administrative region is subdivided into 10 districts. The capital is Fishtown in District Potupo.

The County is located in southeastern Liberia and borders the Republic of the Ivory Coast. The region in 2000 formed from a part of Grand Gedeh. The majority of the population lives from agriculture. Staple crop in River Gee is rice, followed by cassava and bananas.

Policy

The carried out in 2005 first democratic senatorial elections after the civil war Frederick Doe Cherue was elected by the Cotol. As part of a required election also Nathaniel J. Williams of the LDP in 2009 was elected as the second Senator.
