Gilpin is a river in the Lake District in Cumbria, England.
The river rises near Gilpin Lodge east of Bowness- on-Windermere. His name is the flow of the family Gilpin, who was a large landowner in the Kentmere valley have.
The river flows past Crosthwaite and Lyth valley in the hamlet Row joins the River Pool in the Gilpin.
The Gilpin flows into the River Kent.
