The River Tummel is a river in the Scottish Highlands. It is situated in the Unitary Authority of Perth and Kinross in the traditional county of Perthshire.

The source of the River Tummel is Loch Rannoch. The river leaves the lake at its eastern end near the village of Kinloch Rannoch. First, it moves to the east, where it flows through both Dunalastair Water and Loch Tummel. A few kilometers after discharge from Loch Tummel turns the direction of the River Tummel to the southeast, and a bit later by flow hole Faskally and to pass through the village of Pitlochry. Two kilometers south of the village Ballinluig joins the River Tummel in the River Tay.

The river is a fishing area where especially salmon, but trout can be caught. In addition, the river in summer is used for rafting. Most of the banks of the River Tummel sections are considered to be very picturesque and therefore are a popular hiking area.
