Riverside is a city in Montgomery County of the U.S. state of Ohio. At the time the United States Census 2010 here 25 201 inhabitants were noted. It is part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Geography
Riverside's geographic coordinates loud 39 ° 47 'N, 84 ° 7' W39.778888888889 - 84.123055555556 ( 39.778858, -84.123094 ). According to the United States Census Bureau, Riverside has an area of 25.28 km ², of which 25.17 km ² of land and 0.11 km ² accounts waters.
In 1994, Riverside merged with the surrounding Mad River Township. This results in several sections were within the district that do not belong to Riverside, but were previously annexed by Dayton and Huber Heights, Wright - Patterson also the Air Force Base. In total, there are six of these enclaves within Riverside, where the southernmost of which four smaller areas include, each consisting only of link roads.
The district Riversides confined within Montgomery County in Dayton, Kettering, Huber Heights and Wright - Patterson Air Force Base and a small part of Harrison Township, Montgomery County. To the east lie in Greene County, the City Beavercreek, Bath Township and the Beaver Creek Township.

At the time of the census of 2000, there were 25 201 Riverside people. The population density was 1001.0 people per km ². There were 11,304 housing units at an average 449.0 per km ². The population of Riverside's consisted of 87.2 % White, 6.6% Black or African American, 0.3% Native American, 1.9% Asian, 0 % Pacific Islander, 1.1 % reported from other races, and 2.8 % from two or more races. 3.3 % of the population to be Hispanic or Latino of any race.
Residents Riversides distributed to 10,284 households out of which 33.5 % were living in children under 18 years. 44.2 % married couples living together, 15.0 % had a female householder with no husband present, 5.9 % of households are led by men without wives and 34.9 % were non-families. 29.9% of households were made up of individuals and someone lived in 10.6 % of all households aged 65 years or older. The average household size was 2.45 and the average family size is 3.01.

At the time of the census of 2000, there were 23 545 Riverside people. The population density was 1156.6 people per km ². There were 10,289 housing units at an average 505.4 per km ². The population consisted of Riverside's 91.45 % White, 4.26 % African American, 0.21 % Native American, 1.76% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 0.61 % reported other races to belong and 1.66 % from two or more races. 1.55 % of the population to be Hispanic or Latino of any race.
Residents Riversides distributed to 9768 households out of which 28.3 % were living in children under 18 years. 49.3 % married couples living together, 12.2 % had a female householder with no husband present, and 34.2% were non-families. 27.9% of households were made up of individuals and someone lived in 10.1% of all households aged 65 years or older. The average household size was 2.41 and the average family size is 2.95 people.
The population was spread out with 23.5 % under the, 10.3% of 18-24 year olds, 28.4 % 25 -44- year-old, 23.0% 45-64 year olds and 14.9 % under the age of 65 years or more. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 94.5 males. In the over -18s accounted for 100 women 91.6 males.
