Robert Bennett (athlete)

Robert Bennett ( Robert Howard "Bob" Bennett, born August 9, 1919 in Providence, † 13 December 1974) was an American hammer thrower.

1947 and 1948 he was U.S. champion. At the Olympic Games in London in 1948, he won the bronze medal.

His best jump of 56.05 meters was achieved by the student at the University of Maine 1940.
