Robert Buckley
Robert Earl Buckley ( born May 2, 1981 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor who lives in Los Angeles. He is best known for his role as Kirby Atwood in Lipstick Jungle. After the end of the series he got the lead role of the 2009 Clayton Evans in the series One Tree Hill.
Life
Buckley was born in 1981 in Los Angeles. He studied at the University of California, San Diego economy. After he had a long time working as economics adviser, he moved back to Los Angeles and pursue acting.
Career
TV
His acting debut in 2006 as Michael Buckley farmhouse in the telenovela Fashion House. Although the series at the beginning had many spectators, broke the audience 's favor, heavily, so that the series ended after only 4 months.
In 2006, Buckley signed a contract with MyNetworkTV for another TV series. He played the role of Matthew Wakefield in the series American Heiress. However, the series had 65 episodes, of which only 26 aired in the United States in July 2007 after four months. The remaining 39 episodes, however, were broadcast worldwide. That same year, Buckley appeared in an episode of Ghost Whisperer.
In 2008 he played the role of the photographer Kirby Atwood in the television series Lipstick Jungle. However, the series had low viewership from the beginning, which is why it was discontinued in March 2009 after two seasons.
In 2009, The CW announced that Buckley had signed a contract for two related episodes of the TV series Privileged, where he was to embody the role of David Besser. In June 2009 it became known that Buckley would in One Tree Hill take on the role of as Clayton Evans from the seventh season. Meanwhile, the ninth and final season of the series was aired.
Film
Robert Buckley was the end of 2005 his feature film debut in When a Killer Calls. The film opened in February 2006, the same date as When a Stranger Calls. In 2007 he played the Nik in the movie Killer Movie. The film had problems in sales, the planned theatrical release was canceled, so that the film on 3 February 2009 only appeared on DVD. 2008 Buckley signed a contract for the role of Kyle in the Lifetime movie Flirting with Forty alongside Heather Locklear. Premiere of the film was on December 6, 2008.
