Robert Chef d’Hôtel

Robert Chef d' Hôtel ( born February 2, 1922 in Noumea, New Caledonia ) is a French former middle-distance runners and sprinters.

In 1946 he was at the European Athletics Championships in Oslo sixth minute over 800 m in 1:53,0. The next day won the 4 x 400 - meter relay, the French team in the occupation of Bernard Santona, Yves Cros, Chef d' Hôtel Jacques Luni and the European title in 3:14,4 minutes with a tenth of a second ahead of the British relay.

At the Olympic Games in London in 1948, he was over 800 m in 1:56,3 min seventh. The French relay in the cast Jean Kerebel, Francis Schewetta, Chef d' Hôtel and Luni won behind the American quartet silver in 3:14,8 minutes, the French benefited from the failure of the relay Jamaica.
