Jacques Lunis

Jacques Luni ( born May 27, 1923 in Pierre Court, Seine- Maritime; † 2 November 2008) was a French sprinter who specialized in the 400 -meter run.

The European Athletics Championships 1946 in Oslo, he won silver in 48.3 seconds behind the Dane Niels Holst -Sørensen ( 47.9 s ). Two days later, the French team boss Robert d' Hôtel with Luni as the final runners won in the 4 x 400 - meter relay in the cast Santona Bernard, Yves Cros, the European title in 3:14,4 minutes with a tenth of a second ahead of the British relay.
