Robert Donatucci

Robert C. Donatucci ( May 3, 1952 in Philadelphia, † November 9, 2010 in South Philadelphia ) was an American politician of the Democratic Party and from 1980 until his death in the House of Representatives from Pennsylvania.

Donatucci attended Bishop Neumann High School. After finishing school in 1970 he studied at Temple University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in 1974 (BA). In April 1980, he was chosen as part of a by-election in the House of Representatives from Pennsylvania. Donatucci thus replaced from his brother Ronald Donatucci. He had resigned from his position because he had been elected in the previous year to the Register of Wills and Clerk of the Orphans to the 'Court of the City of Philadelphia.

As a parliamentarian Robert Donatucci was re-elected 15 times, most recently in November 2010 with 84 percent, and was a member of the Committee on Ethics and the Liquor Control Committee. In the latter, he served as Majority Chairman.

Donatucci was married and had two children, a son and a daughter. He died at the age of 58 at his home on an apnea.
