Robert Froriep

Robert Friedrich Froriep ( born February 2, 1804 in Jena, † June 15, 1861 in Weimar ) was a German anatomist. He was the father of the anatomist August from Froriep ( 1849-1917 ).

Robert Froriep studied medicine at the University of Bonn. He was prosector at the Charité in Berlin. In 1846 he became director of the country's industry - Comptoirs, Weimar.
