Robert Giroux

Robert Giroux ( April 8, 1914 *, † September 5, 2008 in Tinton Falls, New Jersey) was an American publisher and author.

While Giroux in the publishing business Harcourt, Brace & Co. worked since 1940 he got an offer in 1955 by Farrar & Straus and moved there as well. He first became partners later and even chairman of the company which then Farrar, Straus and Giroux was called.
