Glenister is the son of British TV director John Glenister and the brother of actor Philip Glenister, the police officer DCI Gene Hunt in the series Life on Mars - embodies Caught in the 70s. With his ex-wife, actress Amanda Redman, Glenister was born in 1987 daughter with his current wife, Celia married in 1996 a son was born. Glenisters sister is the actress Beth Goddard.
Career
Glenister began his acting career in 1979 and had finally a year later his first television appearance in the sitcom Sink or Swim.
