Robert Mehlen

Robert flours ( born May 12, 1949 in Luxembourg City ) is a Luxembourgian farmer, politician and honorary president of the ADR.

Life

Robert flours attended the agricultural school in Ettelbrück, and joined the family business in 1965. He was full-time farmer until his election to parliament in June 1989. He lives in Manternach, is the father of a son and a daughter. He was from 1981 to 1989 Member of the Supervisory Board and subsequently to 2008, board member and Vice Chairman of the Milch-Union Hocheifel eG. From 1979 to 1998 he was President of the "Free Luxembourg Farmers' Association " ( FLB ) and 1986-1998 honorary chief editor of the monthly " Fräie Bauer".

From 18 July 1989 to 7 June 2009 was flours ADR deputy of the Chambre des Députés for the eastern constituency. Of 8 December 1991 to 25 March 2012, he was President of the party and was subsequently elected ADR honorary president. It belongs to the municipality Manternach to the council and is president of the local sustainability Commission.
