Robert Meyers (ice hockey)
Robert Roderick "Bob" Meyers ( born August 11, 1924 in Edmonton, Alberta ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player. At the Olympic Winter Games in 1952 he won the gold medal as a member of the Canadian national team.
Career
Bob Meyers represented Canada in 1952 with the Edmonton Mercurys at the Olympic Winter Games in Oslo. He then completed his team a three-month test match tour of Europe.
Internationally
For Canada Meyers participated in the Olympic Winter Games in 1952 in part in Oslo, where he won the gold medal with his team. He completed two games and scored a 13:3 victory over Finland two goals.
