Robert Millar (soccer)
Robert " Bob" Millar ( FIFA leads him on their official website under the notation Bob Miller) ( born May 12, 1890 in Paisley, Scotland, † February 22, 1967 in Staten Iceland, USA ) was an American football player and - coach of Scottish descent.
Club career
Millar was active at club level from 1909 to 1929 for numerous teams. He began his career yet. In his native Scotland with St. Mirren FC, which he left in the direction of his new home in 1911
National
The striker was also a member of the national soccer team of the United States. For this he graduated in 1925 two matches in each of Canada was the opponent.
Coach
After his playing career, he worked as a coach and supervised, among other things, the U.S. national team at the first World Cup 1930.
Millar was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 1950.
