Robert Party

Robert Party ( born April 17, 1924 in Marseille, † November 20, 2011 ) was a French actor.

Life

Party began his acting career in the theater in 1945 alongside Jean Vilar. Over the decades, he has played numerous classics on many stages and festivals. He was, inter alia, engaged at the Théâtre de l' Oeuvre Paris, at the Théâtre antique d' Arles and at the Théâtre Mouffetard; in the 1980s, he played several times alongside Robert Hossein, Jean Anouilh in the decade it in Eurydice and George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion and - again with Hossein - in a stage version of Angélique.

On television Party was a regular guest since 1964; often also in plays that were arranged and recorded for the screen, but also in series such as Les nouvelles aventures de Vidocq. Only occasionally he played for the cinema several times in films by Henri Verneuil. He was also active as a voice actor.
