Robert Reed (author)
Robert David Reed ( born October 9, 1956 in Omaha, Nebraska) is an American science fiction author.
Reed studied biology at the Nebraska Wesleyan University ( NWU ) in Lincoln, Nebraska, and graduated with a B.Sc. from. He then worked until 1987 at Mapes Industries. Since the publication of his first novel The Leeshore he is a full writer.
His first published short story he filed in 1986 under the pseudonym Robert Touzalin one. In 2007 he received the Hugo Award for Best Novella category (best novelette ) for A Billion Eves.
