Robert Sadowski

Róbert Szádowsky or - Romanian - Robert Sadowski ( born August 16, 1914) was a Romanian football goalkeeper of Polish descent. He played a total of 161 games in the highest Romanian football league, the Divizia A, and participated in the World Cup 1938.

Career

Szádowsky began his career at Muncitorul Cernăuţi that his time in the Czernowitz Championship, the regional base Divizia A, played. In 1935 he joined the antretenden in the top division team of AMEF Arad. With AMEFA he was in season 1935/36 runners-up. In 1938 Szádowsky moved to league rivals Juventus Bucharest.

At Juventus, however, presented a not the hoped for sporting success. After the descent at the end of the season 1939/40, Szádowsky moved to Rapid Bucharest, which belonged to the Romanian lace. National

Szádowsky played five games for the Romanian national football team, including the replay against Cuba during the football World Cup in France in 1938. His debut in the national team he had given on September 8, 1937 against Yugoslavia.
