Robert Thompson (media scholar)

Robert J. Thompson ( born August 3, 1959 in Hinsdale, Illinois) is an American media historian.

Robert Thompson graduated from the University of Chicago the degree BA in political science at Northwestern University and the MA and Ph.D. in media studies. He is a professor of popular culture at Syracuse University in New York State, USA.
