Robert W. Cox

Robert W. Cox ( born 1926 ) is a political scientist from Canada.

The former director of the International Institute for Labour Studies at the International Labour Organization ( ILO) is currently Professor Emeritus at York University in Toronto and operates, among others, on a project for the United Nations University on multilateralism.

Cox is one of the representatives of the Neogramscianismus and has made ​​fruitful as such the theories Antonio Gramsci for the sub-discipline of International Relations.
