Robert Wilson (crime novelist)
Robert Wilson ( born 1957 ) is a British crime writer.
Life
Wilson studied English literature at Oxford and worked for years in many different professions before he began his career as a writer with four novels that take place in West Africa and have the British private investigator and a drunkard Bruce Medway to the central figure. After two political thrillers he put 2003 before the first part of a now globally successful series of detective novels featuring active in the Spanish city of Seville Chief Inspector Javier Falcon.
Robert Wilson lives in Portugal.

Wilson's Javier Falcon series was 2012 presentation of the TV miniseries Falcón - as a co-production of Sky ( UK ), Canal ( Spain) and ZDF - with four episodes that aired in November and December 2012 in the UK on Sky Atlantic. The role of Chief Inspector Falcón Marton Csokas played.
