Robert Wulnikowski ( born July 11, 1977 in Bydgoszcz, Poland ) is a German - Polish footballer. The goalkeeper completed during his career, 56 second division games and is since February 2014 at the sixth division RasenBallsport Leipzig II under contract.

Career

Wulnikowski started with the game of football in his hometown at the Polish club Zawisza Bydgoszcz. In 1990 he came to the youth department of FC Schalke 04, 1997, the players moved on to the second team of the club and played in the Oberliga Westfalen. In 1999 he moved to first division side FC Union Berlin. In Union Wulnikowski was initially behind Kay Wehner ( 1999/ 2000) and Sven Beuckert (2000 to 2002) only substitute goalkeeper. In 2001 he went to the club on to the 2nd Bundesliga, without, however, have disputed a single League game. In the DFB-Pokal 2000/ 01 Union Berlin succeeded the finals ( 0-2 against Schalke 04), Wulnikowski came here at the quarter-final victory against the Bundesliga side VfL ​​Bochum (1-0 ) after 30 minutes for the injured Beuckert used.
