Robert Younger, Baron Blanesburgh
Robert Younger, Baron Blanesburgh, of Alloa in the County of Clackmannan, GBE, PC, QC ( September 12, 1861 *, † August 17, 1946 ) was a British lawyer who most recently as Lord of Appeal in Ordinary, due to the Appellate Jurisdiction Act in 1876 as a Life peer and member of the House of Lords was.
Life
After visiting the Edinburgh Academy Younger completed an undergraduate degree at Balliol College, University of Oxford and graduated in 1883 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA ) from. He then studied law and received his legal approval in 1884 of the Bar Association ( Inns of Court ) of the Inner Temple. He then began working as a barrister and was recognized for his legal services in 1900, Queen's Counsel, and in 1907 the so-called " Bencher " the Law Society of Lincoln 's Inn. He also holds a Master of Arts in 1909.
In 1915 he became a judge at the Chamber for Economic Affairs ( Chancery Division ) to the Commissioner for England and Wales High Court of Justice, and held this office of judge until 1919. Younger was a younger brother of the politician George Younger, 1st Viscount Younger of Leckie
