Robert Younis

Robert Younis ( born August 14, 1985 in Sydney ) is an Australian football player.

Career

Younis was part of the Australian squad for the 2003 national student and was given the opportunity to audition for the English club Liverpool FC. The striker played between 2004 and 2008 mainly for the APIA Leichhardt Tigers in the NSW Premier League and scored in this period 63 hits in 71 games. After being in 21 games top scorer in the league was in the 2008 season with 21 goals, he received in the summer of 2008 the A- League club Adelaide United a two -year contract.

With Adelaide he was in November of the same year in the final of the AFC Champions League and came on in the final two games against Gamba Osaka respectively.
