Roberta Taylor
Roberta Alexandra Mary Taylor ( born February 26, 1948 in London, England) is a British actress.
Life
Taylor had her acting debut in 1979 in an episode of the television series Crown Court In the 1980s she played mainly theater in Glasgow. In 1990, she had one of her rare film appearances in The Witches alongside Anjelica Huston and Rowan Atkinson. After a few guest appearances in series such as Silent Dalton, she received the role of Irene in the soap opera EastEnders, which she played from 1997 to 2000 in 245 episodes in 1997. Between 2002 and 2008 she starred as Inspector Gina Gold in 289 episodes of the crime series The Bill.
Taylor is married to actor Peter Guinness.
