Roberts Bank Superport

The Roberts Bank Super port, often referred to as Delta Port, is a container terminal in Delta in the Canadian province of British Columbia. It is situated around 40 km south of Vancouver on the Strait of Georgia, near the border with the United States.

The system forms an integral part of the port of Vancouver. It is located at the end of a 5-km long dam on an artificial island. The port was built in 1968 for the export of coal and has since been developed by a freight railway line of the Canadian National Railway in 1997 was added a handling system for containers. The 113 -acre harbor island and its access roads affect the reserve of the Tsawwassen Indians.
