Rocca (crater)

Rocca is an impact crater on the western limb of the Moon front, southwest of the crater Grimaldi and north-west of Darwin. The crater wall is mainly eroded the north and west, the crater floor is rutted and uneven.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Italian mathematician Giovanni Antonio Rocca.
