Rochester is a city in the U.S. state of Indiana. With 6,414 inhabitants ( 2000) it is the seat of the district administration ( county seat ) of Fulton County.

Geography

Rochester is located at 41 degrees 3 ' 43 " ( 41.061883 ) north latitude and 86 degrees 12' 24" ( 86.206727 ) west longitude. The city has a total area of 14.7 km ², of which 11.8 km ² of land and 2.9 km ² ( 19.58 %) are water. For Rochester owned by the artificial Lake Manitou, which is generated by a dam on Mill Creek. There are two golf courses in Rochester.
