Rochusgasse (Vienna U-Bahn)

The Rochusgasse the subway line U3 in the 3rd district of Vienna highway was opened on 6 April 1991. It has a central platform and extends two storeys under the Hainburgerstraße between the Salmgasse and Hintzerstraße parallel to the country Hauptstrasse. It is named after the patron saint of the nearby parish church of St. Roch and Sebastian.

Exits lead into town via escalators, a lift and a fixed staircase to the Rochusmarkt, which forms the center of the shopping district land Hauptstrasse, as well as out of town by means of fixed stairs in the Rochuspark, a small backyard park ( Grete -Jost - Park), which together with the U -Bahn station was built in the early 1990s. A passage leads to the country Hauptstrasse. It is possible to switch to the bus lines 4A towards Karlsplatz or Wittelsbachstraße and 74A towards Stubentor or Sankt Marx. In the immediate vicinity of the station there is the Galleria shopping center.
