Rod Perry (actor)
Rod Perry ( born July 30, 1941 in Coatesville, Pennsylvania) is an American actor.
Life
Perry had his feature film debut in the Philippine Drama The Evil Within at the side of Dev Anand. In the years 1974 and 1975 he played the lead role in two Blaxploitation films, The Black Godfather and The Black Gestapo. Between 1975 and 1976 he was a regular on the television series The tough five, in which he detailed Sergeant David " Deacon " Kay. After the series was canceled, his acting career faltered and he had only sporadic guest appearances on television series. In 2003 he had a cameo in the feature film adaptation SWAT - The special unit.
