Rodney is an American sitcom that aired in the United States from 2004 to 2006 on ABC. In Germany, the series of RTL 2 is transmitted.
The plot is roughly on the life of the main character Rodney Carrington, a well-known in the U.S. comedian and country music singer, ajar. Rodney ( in the series he 's last name is Hamilton) lives with his wife Trina (Jennifer Aspen ) and his sons, Jack and Bo ( Robert ) in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he tries to build a life as a stand- up comedian. Other characters are his best friend Barry Martin ( Nick Searcy ) and Trina Luck Charlie (Amy Pietz ), who has an affair with Gerald Bob (Jon Reep ), the slightly dim-witted local police.
