Rodolfo Enrique Fogwill

Rodolfo Enrique Fogwill ( born July 15, 1941 in Buenos Aires; † August 21, 2010 ) was an Argentine sociologist and writer.

Family

Fogwill came from a family of immigrants and was removed with the English writer Charles Lang Bridge Morgan (1894-1958) related.

He was the father of commercial and music video producers and director Andy Fogwill and actress Vera Fogwill.

Life

He studied at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (including sociology ), he was able to successfully complete a PhD. Following this, he was entrusted with a teaching position there; 1966 to 1973, he became a professor of sociology. Meanwhile Fogwill worked as an advertising strategist, market analyst, editor, consultant and punter.

In addition to his sociological, purely scientific issues, Fogwill created over the years an impressive oeuvre. His novel " Los pichiciegos " he sat down as one of the first writers of his country deal with the Falklands war. His literary works published Fogwill often only with Fogwill.

In September 2010, will appear as the first title of Fogwill in German on the Random House The underground battle.
