Rolf Weih

Rolf Weih ( born February 8, 1906 in Barmen, † August 15, 1969 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German actor.

Life

The son of a medical council races after his graduation at the high school a commercial apprenticeship. He was then engaged in various industries, including as an engineer at Siemens & Halske in Berlin.

Christmas dabbled in this period but also as an amateur magician when vaudeville and cabaret artist. He came to Hamburg and Paris. In 1927 he was engaged at the Rose Theatre in Berlin for three years. In 1930 he came to his first small film roles.

Only now Christmas took acting lessons and appeared as operetta Buffo on various provincial theaters. 1936 brought him the UFA from Görlitz for the film Men before marriage before the camera. Christmas has now primarily a film actor who was mainly used as a lover with comedic note, for example, in The Governor (1939 ) as a partner of Hannelore Schroth. In Loud Love ( 1940) he was also a singing performance.

Later Christmas was a busy supporting actor, who also participated in the '50s in numerous home movies. For health reasons he had to restrict his professional career in 1961.

Rolf Weih was married to the dancer Ira herb and father of two children. Christmas died after a heart attack and was buried in the cemetery in Berlin Wilmersdorf.
