Roller in-line hockey
Inline Hockey is played on inline skates a team sport that strongly resembles the Hockey of the equipment, the game machine Puck and a large part of the rules.

The two organizations agreed that only the winner of the Dihl may carry the title of German Champion. The IHD organized play activities of the North, the DEB to the South divisions.

For amateur players, there are also some loose association leagues or beginners leagues, organized by the regional associations of driv.
Due to the increased spread of the inline skater hockey, as well as the professionalism of the local leagues operation changed in 2008/ 09, the multiple German Inline Hockey Champion ( IHD) Assenheim Patriots of the IHD - Bundesliga ISHD game operation, although he there only start in the third division could.
Inline hockey in Switzerland

Inline hockey in Austria
The Inline Hockey League of the Vienna Ice Hockey Federation ( Wihl ) is divided into two classes, and is unlike the League of ÖRSV with Puck and Hockey Field Size played. Furthermore, the Hockey Association organized a league, in which mainly hockey players of the higher divisions are represented. | The range of inline skater hockey is organized in Austria by the ISHA (inline skater hockey Austria). World and European Championships

Just as the national championships will be organized by different associations, various World Championships are also held by the different international sports federations. So organized one hand, the International Roller Skating Federation FIRS World Championships for men and women, on the other hand, the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF World Championships for men.
European Championships are just so far as youth and women's World Championships and Continental Cups of Champions held only by the FIRS. At least the junior world championships and the Cup Tournament of Champions in Europe and South America are already at the IIHF in planning.
From the International Olympic Committee only the FIRS is recognized as a carrier of the Inline hockey sports, which is why the IOC organized by the World Games in which inline hockey is represented since 2005, a national team was put together by driv.
Trivia
As the longest -line hockey game in the world, the match between the Scorpions of Otjiwarongo in Namibia and a selection of the Namibian Inline and Ice Hockey Federation was registered on 7 February 2014, the Guinness Book of World Records. The match lasted a total of 27 hours and 31 seconds.
