Rolls-Royce MT30
The Rolls- Royce MT marine turbine is based on the Rolls- Royce Trent 800 aircraft engine gas turbine. The current model is the Rolls- Royce MT30
The MT30 corresponds to 80% of the Trent 800, the successful engine for the Boeing 777, the maximum power is 36 MW, the minimum 25 MW.
Rolls- Royce announced the MT30 program on 11 September 2001. The first test run of the MT30 was held on 6 September 2002.
