Romain Gavras
Romain Gavras (born 4 July 1980) is a French film director.
Life
Gavras is the son of film director Constantin Costa -Gavras and brother of director Julie Gavras.
In 1994, he turned along with Kim Chapiron his first short film. Together they also founded the production company Kourtrajmé with which he 2001, his first music video shot. In the music video scene he fell on to the video for DJ Mehdi's Signatune, 2008, he came with the shot in Moscow video for the debut single by The Last Shadow Puppets breakthrough. His video for Justices stress, showing a group of young people who pulls beating and rampaged through the streets of Paris, sparked a controversial discussion, as he praised one hand for his idea and the radical design, it but also the glorification of violence was on the other accused. 2010 locked his Youtube video clip for the song MIA Born Free.
Gavras worked for the live documentary " A Cross the Universe", which appeared in late 2008, one more time with the band Justice together. In addition, he is working to make his short film " San Francisco " a feature film. In 2011 he turned the spot for the " all in" umbrella brand campaign by Adidas.
