Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Castries

The Archdiocese of Castries (Latin: Archidioecesis Castriensis ) is a location in Saint Lucia Roman Catholic archdiocese based in Castries. It covers the state of Saint Lucia.

History

Pope Pius XII. founded the bishopric of Castries on 20 February 1956 cession of territory of the Archdiocese of Port of Spain and imputed it this suffragan. On November 18, 1974 brought Paul VI. it to the archdiocese.
