Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Parakou

The Archdiocese of Parakou (Latin: Archidioecesis Parakuensis ) is an Archdiocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Benin, based in Parakou.

Forerunner of today's Archdiocese of Parakou is the 1948 by Pope Pius XII. appointed Apostolic Prefecture of Parakou, which was established from the prefecture of Niamey in Niger out. 1964, by Paul VI. the collection to the diocese and in 1997 by Pope John Paul II elevation to the archbishopric.

From the bishoprics of territory Djougou, Kandi, Natitingou and N'Dali were founded.
