Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Rosario

The Archdiocese of Rosario (Latin Archidioecesis rosariensis, Spanish Arquidiócesis de Rosario ) is a location in Argentina Roman Catholic archdiocese based in Rosario.

History

The diocese Rosario was born on April 20, 1934 by Pope Pius XI. built with the Papal Bull Nobilis Argentinas Tinae Nationis out of territory of the Diocese of Santa Fe. It was the Archdiocese of Santa Fe is a suffragan. On August 12, 1963, the diocese was part of its territory from the foundation of the diocese Venado Tuerto. The diocese Rosario was born on August 12, 1963 by Pope Paul VI. raised to an archbishopric.
