Roman Catholic Diocese of Bafatá

The Diocese of Bafatá (Latin: Dioecesis Bafatanus ) is a located in Guinea- Bissau Roman Catholic diocese based in Bafatá.

History

The Diocese of Bafatá was built on 13 March 2001 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Cum ad fovendam of annexations of the Diocese of Bissau. First bishop was Carlos Pedro Zilli PIME.
